Portuguese Property Show, Dublin
There will be a Portuguese Property Show, Dublin on Wednesday May 15th 2019. It is the Moving to Portugal exhibition and will run from 11am to 9pm.
This is interesting for a number of reasons. Firstly because such a show hasn’t run anywhere in Ireland in over a decade. Secondly, it is being promoted by the UK’s Portuguese Chamber of Commerce, so at least you’ll know that the companies promoting at it have some level of competence. This, unfortunately, isn’t always the case at such shows.
The day long exhibition, which is being held at Dublin’s Alex Hotel (D02 H678) and will include a range of seminars as well as some companies selling property around Portugal.
Each seminar lasts two hours, with a coffee break, featuring six short presentations on different aspects of buying a property in Portugal. These will cover moving to Portugal, retiring there, buying a second home there or moving for work. It will also include information on Portugal’s attractive Non-Habitual Resident (NHR) tax regime.
There will be Irish pension, tax and legal specialists on hand to offer advice specific to Irish nationals planning to invest or live in Portugal.
A panel will discuss living costs, health and insurance issues, as well as the prices and types of property that can be found across Portugal.
Seminars start at 11.30am, 3pm and 6.30pm.
Places at the seminars are free and can be booked online at www.movingtoportugal.ie.
